  • Sakura Motif: Densely covered with cherry blossoms in various sizes and styles, including soft pink petals with gold centers, white flower silhouettes, and small accent blossoms in deep magenta/maroon.

  • Gradient Background: The paper canopy features a soft watercolor gradient shifting between pale pink, gentle yellow, and light lilac hues.

  • Central Cap (Atama): An olive-green cap topped with a four-pointed star collar layered with yellow and white trim, bound at the base with a thin cord.

  • Traditional Construction: Built with visible radial wooden or bamboo ribs extending out from the center to support the paper canopy, typical of classic wagasa craft.

Create handcrafted Japanese umbrellas using techniques passed down from the late Kiyoshi Furuchi, a master craftsman of Yamagata Wagasa, the traditional umbrella craft of Yamagata.
